Body recovered after fall off Grand Canyon's South Rim

Officials from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park about 400 feet away, fell to his death, a person's body recovered Nevada says.



National Park Service officials kyryyrz- Juan Soto, 29, of Las Vegas, with his family on Thursday was visiting the park.

Although he remains under investigation ruled the death accidental fall.

Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center about 4:20 PM on the edge of Mather Point, which had fallen off the edge of the trail East received a report of a man.

Park officials said the helicopter was able to locate the body underneath said.

Due to the terrain, safety concerns and the darkness, park officials for body recovery operations were suspended until Friday morning.
